The circus comes into town in the late afternoon. It's a quiet caravan, but the whispers start immediately. It's not a regular circus. This one - this is the Camelot circus. One of the most esteemed traveling acts in the country, and not for the faint of heart. This one has a flaming sword eater and a terrifying magician.

A few brave people try to peek at the preparations, but once the big tent is up, all that can really be seen are food stands being set up, and a few podiums for acts unknown. Everything else is hidden from view. You want to see? Come buy a ticket.

Merlin kisses him back happily, leaning in closer.

"I really like this part too about you being here." He grins.

Merlin laughs and pecks Arthur's cheek. "Me too."

((nah, Germany to UK is just one hour time difference. 4am was just the cheapest flight I could find XD))

"Glad to hear that." Arthur leans back against the couch again. "Do you like reading?"

[ooc: Ahh, I see. Maybe something went awry? My computer broke for no reason yesterday.]

"When I can. I don't have much money to spend on books, though."

((she isn't replying to texts either ~~ buuut I've got back-up options!... at least I hope so xD))

"Have you seen my library yet?" Arthur smiles, pleased to hear that Merlin does indeed like reading.

"...you have a library?" Merlin's eyes widen.

[royalpratness]

"I do indeed. I'm surprised Alice hasn't shown you yet."

[ayoungboy]

"Exactly how rich are you?" Merlin teases.

[royalpratness]

"I'm very rich, Merlin." Arthur informs him, grinning. "Come, I'll show you the library."

Merlin laughs, sliding up, off the couch to follow Arthur.

Arthur leads him back downstairs, into the west wing of the house. He opens a large door, leading into a dimly lit room with rows and rows of bookshelves.

"Wow," Merlin breathes, eyes widening even farther.

[royalpratness]

"It's brilliant, isn't it?" Arthur smiles, proudly.

[ayoungboy]

"Absolutely incredible," Merlin nods dumbly.

"Go on, have a look around."

Merlin slowly breaks off from Arthur, walking through the rows of books in awe.

((yup! and I'm going to bed now...at 8pm lol. o/ ttyl!))

Arthur leans against a bookcase, watching Merlin, a smile on his face. "You can come here and read whenever you like."

"Really?" Merlin grins, excited.

"Of course. I don't always have the time to read and it'd be a shame to let it gather dust."

Merlin hugs Arthur suddenly and tightly. "Thank you..."

((soo I just saw Colin with his pants down - nice legs!- getting dry humped by Ben Whishaw :D Mohjo was really good! and Colin was amazing <3))

Arthur is a bit surprised but returns the hug. "Anytime."

Merlin hugs him for a long moment before slowly pulling back, blushing. No one's ever been this kind.

"You can take them out here and read them in your room, if you want." Arthur runs a finger over a dusty surface.
