Spellbound

This week has been fucking exhausting. He'd been consuling all week and dealing with a threat over in Norway. Somebody trying to brew mind control potions, again. Why couldn't everybody just get along and stop fussing? He's finally back home, in England, heading up the wizarding council while they go over worldwide news, and he gets an invite - no, it isn't that. It's more of a demand, from King Pendragon.

He's a bit tired, really, and didn't feel like dealing with it. "Not now, thank you. Politely decline, for me?" He told the runner. "Send him some magical candy."

He just wanted to go home and finish his book, thank you. He didn't ask for these powers, but if he took a holiday the world would flip out. People held him in high regard for some reason - he wasn't that wise, or old. He was just a young man trying to do right. Yet somehow the King was demanding his presence.

"Are you sure? You...you want to?" Merlin looks up with wide eyes.

"I'm sure." Arthur nods. "Are you?"

Merlin nods as well, pressing closer.

Arthur smiles, tugging Merlin down onto the bed with him. "Can you lock the door?" With magic, he means.

Merlin's eyes flash gold, and he smiles as the door clicks shut.

"Thanks." Arthur strokes a hand through Merlin's hair, leaning back in to kiss him again.

Merlin wraps his arms around Arthur's neck, pulling him in closer to their liplock.

Arthur slips his hands under Merlin's shirt, running them over his stomach and chest.

Merlin groans, rolling against Arthur and tugging at him, pressing into his searching fingers.

Arthur tugs on the hem of Merlin's shirt, urging him to lift his arms and help him take off the shirt.

Merlin's shirt came off with a gust of magic and a tug from Arthur, baring pale skin to the King.

Arthur grins down at him. "This magic thing is really handy." He presses a kiss to Merlin's chest, smoothing his hand over Merlin's skin.

"Just wait till you see what else I can do," Merlin laughs, shivering as Arthur kisses at his skin.

[royalpratness]

"Can't wait to find out." Arthur smirks, taking off his own shirt and tossing it to the floor.

[ayoungboy]

"This...is this a, um...is this friends with benefits?" Merlin asks quiely, letting his eyes trace over smooth skin.

[royalpratness]

"No. This is... I don't know what this is yet." Arthur props himself up on his elbows, looking at Merlin. "I can't promise you marriage but... why don't we just roll with it and see where it gets us."

[ayoungboy]

"...boyfriends? I mean, we're already fake-boyfriends." Merlin chuckles a little, staring back at Arthur. "Ah, no, not asking for marriage love."

[royalpratness]

"Boyfriends sounds like we're teenagers." Arthur pulls a face, unable to think of a better term.

[ayoungboy]

"...well," Merlin blushes, letting his hand glide over Arthur's side to his hip. "Lovers."

[royalpratness]

"Seems appropriate." Arthur seals his lips to Merlin's again.

Merlin laughs, lips parted for Arthur''s, and groans a little at the warm kiss.

[royalpratness]

Moaning against Merlin's lips, Arthur grinds his hips down.

[ayoungboy]

Merlin gasps softly, fingers tightening on Arthur's hip. "Mm..."

[royalpratness]

Arthur nuzzles the side of Merlin's neck, kissing his way down to his collarbone.

"Fuck, Arthur..." Merlin shivers pleasantly, fingers moving to slide into Arthur's hair.
